SKATER INFORMATION:
Elana Horowitz, in her 1st and 2nd inline race ever and with only 3 weeks of skating behind her and
2 weeks of practice on her new skates was outstanding.
Angela Garcia, a skater who did some outdoor racing in Columbia but has not raced in 2 years,
tried her best. But the 2 year layoff was too much for her against the pro ladies.
If able to put the proper training in, Angela could be a top pro skater.
Next Eastern Seaboard Series race is on June 20th, our team should have 17 skaters racing at that event.

November 9, 2008, Keystone League Meet in Frenchtown, NJ
- We had 9 skaters racing in the Novice and Standard divisions. The team brought home 21 medals. First-time indoor racers were the McClay family (Ian, Kathleen, MacKenzie, and Kerrianne), Jessenia Falardo, and Kevin Loveless. The League website has detailed points listings.
Congratulations to everyone on a fine effort!
Sept 27, 2008, NYC Skate Marathon & New York 100K
- Three hardy MRT skaters ventured out on the hilly, wet course and had reason to celebrate afterwards.

- Brian Bowmaster - Overall winner in the 21K Advanced Division
- Vinny Coticelli - Third place in his age group, 21K Advanced Division
- Ian McClay - Completed his first 42K race within two minutes of his goal time. Ian only started skating this past spring - way to go!
